Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 is the sequel to the original Capcom vs. SNK game. The two competing game companies go head-to-head once again, this time with even more Capcom and SNK characters than the original game. There are 44 warriors from Capcom's Street Fighter and SNK's King of Fighter's series, 10 of these brawlers are new characters. Players again have the option of fighting as a Capcom character or an SNK character and choosing between one of six new fighting "grooves", each based on either company's fighting styles. The game also features new environments.
